December

Congratulations to Java Jacobson who somehow has still managed to win things even when no shows are on!!!!  Java (for the second year in a row) brought home the overall highest pointscore for Matcham Valley Pony Club awards night as well as the sporting highest pointscore.  Here she is pictured with Ice Cream displaying her trophies. Well done Java, you are the greatest.

November

Well there isn't much news to report at the moment, the equine influenza has caused all our shows to be cancelled till 2008! So all the horses have been enjoying a bit of a holiday, however they are all back in work now ready for when the shows are able to start up again.

Our camps will be on in January as usual, check out the camps page and you can download all the dates and information.
In the meantime we have so many shows to look forward to next year the horses won't know what has hit them!

August
The show season is well underway and will continue till December, so there is plenty of work being done around here!  Congratulations to Java Jacobson on her Champion at the Mangrove Mountain Interclub Day, and also to Lily who came away with a few ribbons at her first ever competition.
May

Alice Webber has purchased a horse of her own and what a superstar he is!!  Mirinda Kingsway has come all the way from South Australia!  Will as he is known at home is a chestnut gelding, just over 14hh and there is little this horse hasn’t won with his previous rider Tessa Hughes (including 2007 Galloway of the Year!).  I’m sure Alice will be having a fantastic time and winning lots of ribbons in the future.

April

So much news to report this time with lots of success for everyone.

Paint the Stars of Astral has had a fantastic time recently winning the Grand National Galloway title for the 2nd time!  He also competed at Sydney Royal winning his open Galloway class and went on to be reserve champion Galloway!  Congratulations to Sarah, Tim and all of Tassie’s hardworking connections!!  Is there anything left for this horse to win???

(Pictured) is Niamh Ramsay who won Champion pony club rider at the Stroud Show.  Well done Niamh!  Alex Voysey has also been in the ribbons winning Champion at the Cooranbong interclub day, only her third competition, what a thrill! Champion again for Redlands Outrageous at Campbelltown show and Java Jacobson also had a very successful day winning five blue ribbons and many others.

Zack and Storm also ventured out to their first day at pony club and both behaved so well, very impressive.  Storm has put on heaps of weight and is looking better and better.  I can’t wait to see him out in the show ring.

Check out the camps page for pictures of the autumn camp, a great time was had by all.  Don’t forget to order your stickers for our tent fundraiser, you can get the forms off Georgie. Keep working hard everyone, we still have a long way to go but we’re getting there!!!

March
Well done to my two girls for their success at Tall Timbers Interclub Day.  Alex Voysey at only her second competition ever, came away with Reserve Champion in her age group!  Java Jacobson continued her winning run with Champion in her age group!  What a great day.
Congratulations to our hardworking girls and their families for their excellent results from Bathurst Royal Show.  Alice, Java and Niamh attended and it was their first royal show!  A great learning experience for them all as well as the horses and all the girls had ribbons to bring home.  A special congratulations to Monique Jacobson (pictured) who did a great job leading Raleigh Mignonette and came home with her first royal show blue as well as Reserve Champion!!!!  What a pair of stars.  Check out the results page for more news!
